This is the painting that ended me up here. Desolations propelled me into painting and I found a comfort of painting home. This is the first Gallery Wrap painting I bought and my first big painting. Desolation is a moody landscape where you can feel the chill. For me it is comfort, a cold November day on the West Coast of British Columbia. A glimpse of a West Coast day in the winter.
